Kool Thing Club, the not-so exclusive club you need to invite yourself to.

What is Kool thing club?

Kool thing club is a small event being hosted monthly at popular (and dazzling) bar and pub the Quarry, located on 45 Hardman street, Liverpool L1. The club itself is renowned for it's selection of nighties to naughties songs that can they play far into the night, or early into the day depending on how you view it.

They primarily focus on shoegaze and indie rock tracks, playing heavy hitters hole Hole, Garbage, Nirvana, Sneaker Pimps and many more.

Besides having good music taste, the club also offers deep connections to those who find themselves in it, being surrounded by people within the community is empowering, and great for socializing; although the drinks provides additionally help with that.

It was an all too good opportunity for MAINE to report live at the scene, and the lucky reporter to tell us all about it.

"The atmosphere is unbelievable, it just feels like I can finally unmask around people I know won't judge me" says one patron of the Kool thing club.

One man we interviewed told us that "At first I didn't believe there was a social club for me to fit into and make friends, even less so one with people in it so attune to me".
