A day in the life
Lacey Hemming is the latest musician on the scene in the North West, striking up a chord and playing round the entirety of Merseyside in any crack in the wall that will take her - no place too small. His music is a rhythmic combination of all musical influences that inspired him throughout her life - including rock, reggae, funk, industrial and shoegaze. Only fitting her music taste is as diverse as his home - born and raised in Liverpool she's always been in love with the city and wants to play the song that the city sings to her, and let everyone hear it regardless of whether they're locals or half-way across the globe. Her upcoming album is about various different catalogued events in her life - the song "Shotgun wedding" has been a smash hit, we interviewed the visionary herself about the songs origins and what it means to her, before we ask fans what it means to them.
"I'm grateful for all my friends who've helped me get through the tough
times, and I hope that they'll be with me for the even tougher times, this
album is a passion project for me and a love letter to everyone special in
my life, so I hope they're all proud of it."
